Meet Our StaffChris Davis, FounderChris Davis has been providing insurance services to the Vail Valley since 1994. He founded Alpine Insurance Associates in 1998, and is one of the few Certified Insurance Counselors in the area. Chris is a lifelong outdoor adventurer. He was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and holds a B.S. from Longwood College, Virginia. He came to the Vail Valley in 1993 to lead an outdoor adventure school, and after 60 days in the back-country, decided to stay. He started as a file clerk with a local insurance firm that had been around for 25 years, and he learned everything he could. He has been dedicated to protecting our residents and community ever since.

James D. McGalliard, Partner / Agent
James began his insurance career with Alpine Insurance Agency in 1999. Since that time, the agency has grown from a two-man shop to a two-office, 12 employee firm. James has been a resident of the Vail Valley since 1993, and has watched our community grow up quickly. He’s committed to providing Vail residents with creative and affordable insurance solutions. James was born in Dallas, Texas. He received a B.B.A. from the University of Iowa. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. When not in the office, James enjoys spending time with his wife, playing hockey and enjoying all the outdoor activities Vail has to offer.

Mike Campbell, Agent
Mike Campbell moved from New Jersey to Colorado in 1996 to ski and like so many locals, never looked back. After a few years with Vail Resorts, Mike decided to join the Alpine Insurance Agency team in July of 2001. He is licensed to sell Property & Casualty and regularly attends Continuing Education Classes to keep up with the industry trends. He holds a B.S. from Stockton State College in N.J.

She is licensed in Property & Casualty and serves as Account Manager for Chris Davis’ clients. A Native of Vermont, Kathleen moved to Colorado in 1987 to join her many siblings who had already made the trek out West to live. She holds a B.S. from Lyndon State College in Vermont. Kathleen currently lives with her husband Mike and their goofy yellow lab, Barkley, just 12 miles north of Kremmling on Gore Pass in their dream home that Mike built. Candace G. Wens, Personal Lines Account ManagerCandace has been working with Alpine's Edwards office since 2008. She is licensed in Property & Casualty and provides customer service to Chris Davis' clients. Candace grew up in Colorado and currently lives in Denver with her hetero life partner and four legged children, Earl & June. She enjoys summer, warm breezes, sewing and riding her cruiser bike.

Only 2 months after graduating from Penn State University with a BS, Jen joined the Alpine Insurance Team in early 2009. She has been working in the insurance industry since 2000 and is licensed in Property & Casualty. Jen grew up outside of Philadelphia and she now enjoys snowboarding, going to concerts, hula hooping, hiking and camping in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

John assisted owner Chris Davis in establishing the newly opened office located in Summit County at 1st and Main Street in Frisco. John is currently working on obtaining his designation as a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor). John completes over 24 hours of continuing education every year to strengthen his insurance knowledge and expertise. John was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and moved to Colorado in September of 1983. He now lives in Silverthorne and is locally involved around the community in Summit County. John worked in the music industry for 15 years, giving and organizing to the needs of 12 musicians and their family members. After leaving the road, John has taken those qualities and is now dedicated to protecting the residents and community.

Amy was brought on the team at the beginning of 2010 when the agency added Health Insurance and Employee Benefits to their product offerings. Jeremy grew up in northeastern Colorado, attended Fort Lewis College in Durango and graduated in 1995 with a business and finance degree. His love for the mountains brought him to the Vail Valley right after graduation. Jeremy lives and works in Edwards and enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, biking and being outdoors. Jeremy specializes in life insurance, how to tax diversify your retirement planning, investment planning, business planning and estate planning.
